Happy Saint Patrick’s Day! (week).

Good morning !

If you run a facebook page, be prepared to see your like count drop.

This is a good thing.

Facebook is purging accounts that they know are no longer active. As a result you may see your like count drop. If you only care about the top line like count then you won’t be happy. If you care about reach and engagement, then this should be a good thing for you. After all, you want to see the number of people engaged with your content rising. If you have inactive members on your page they will NEVER engage.

I’ve included two articles that should help.

Have a great week !

Best,
